things are looking good

Very happy today, the buyers for our house have confirmed that they have funds in place. Our estate agent says it could be as quick as 6-8 weeks for the sale completes!!! Scary stuff!!

Will have to start sorting through all the mountains of crap Ive got stuffed into my cupboards and wardrobes....

Also need to be REALLY nice to my parents as I will be wanting their spare room until we make the final move across to Canada.....

Need to get organised as I also have to re-home the dog, that will be so heartbreaking as he is my baby :-(

hi sal, can't you take your dog with you? i wouldn't dream of leaving mine behind, would have more chance of leaving my kids than my dog.

Hi Mark

Would love to take him but I am concerned about the practicalities of it, If I want to travel with Lee could he come? how would we fare crossing over into USA with him?
I have been looking at properties for rental and none seem to accept pets!!
Have shed many a tear over this and nothing is set in stone as yet...

Hi
I think im right in saying this but I believe that there are rooms in the lodge that take animals, dont quote me on this as im not 100% sure. My husband works for H&R and he says that loads of drivers have dogs with them. I had an 18 month old german shepherd and I re-homed him and I really miss him. I have wanted a boxer just like yours since i was a kid but I wasnt allowed one (husband says they are too sloppy) so we got the shepherd instead.

oooh I thought it would be a straight no to having the dog at the lodge, will have to give them a call and find out for sure. Thanks guys for being so helpful.

Boxer dogs are the best, he is a bit sloppy when he thinks he might be getting a treat or has just eaten, we've become quite adept at chasing him straight after a meal to wipe his moshers, lol x

Pets are allowed at the Lodge and there are no restrictions (yet) crossing the border with them. Have you done ANY research?

Sal_Lee said...

Thanks for your help JT, hadn't researched whether pets would be allowed in the Lodge.
